The cap lettering came upward several times in this forum and zero was decided
As I said last time about Times New Roman [TNR] -- which I suggested then:

The kickoff _G_ is serifless on the lower rhs [like TNR], the second _G_ has a serif. So not a font?

Well based on the hat over all I would select Vinegar over NTR.

Over all, the embroidery on the lid is very poor, and I would suspect that the stitch count was low when they digitized it. So theres that to consider too. (based on looking at a hot on Trump'southward offical merch site)

Bozac - take a wait at the cap R - it'south Times Roman.
And yes, the reason it does not wait like a font -- is because it is embroidered.

The curt middle bar of the E makes Times or Times New Roman unlikely. Times Bold is possible.

But the artwork for this hat is actually a mess all around. The first Grand has no bristles merely the second does. Which is also true of the hats they sell on the Trump website.

I'm pretty certain it'due south just American Typewriter. A font called "Typerwriter" is a stock font for basically every embroiderer.

If you lot look at the down diagonal stroke of the letter 'R' you encounter it's directly, not curved. That rules out Century entirely (ha ha). If you look at the batten on the A, it'south really college that Times New Roman's. If yous look at the crossbar of the E, the hat'southward is not centered on the Y axis, but in Times and TNR they both are. I don't recollect it's either of those. It most certainly isn't American typewriter, since the hat has differences in stroke width, while AT doesn't..

Our embroidery machine has custom fonts that emulate popular fonts such as Times New Roman - I suspect that this is an embroidery but font that is built into digitizing/embroidery software

Registered just to say that. Seems like trump uses a inexpensive manufacturing plant. Also I have a friend who'south mom owns an embroidery shop and she say'due south that the embroidery machines employ uniform prune art instead of standard fronts so this could even so be an image version of tnr. She said it looked like an imaged version of ITC Bookman while her son said it looked like a custom clarendon. Imma go with garmond since it is the closest on the chapeau site even though the G and the Eastward are slightly dissimilar. Most people wouldn't be able to see any deviation.

The offset G is a sewing error simply everything else is BOOKMAN DEMI. Have a look at the E and the T in item.
